In my opinion, Podcasts are to blogs what Audible is to books. It’s a way to consume content when you don’t have the time to read it. It also serves as a great way to feel like you’re a part of an adult conversation when you spend your entire day talking to a tiny human who can’t yet respond in full sentences. The best podcasts are the ones that pull me into the conversation.
I like to listen to my Podcasts when I’m on the road, taking baby for a walk, or cleaning the kitchen. Some teach me things I never knew, others motivate me to try new things and the best podcasts give me a chance to hear real stories from real people.
The busier I get, the less time I have to consume quality content. And by that, I mean content that moves me, makes the think, challenges my perception, opens my eyes. Sometimes, I’m just so exhausted, all I want to do is mindlessly scroll through my phone and passively consume content. But I’ve noticed, when I take the time to plug in those earbuds and consciously consume some quality content, I’m always better for it.
Below is a list of the best podcasts (IMO), especially for tired mamas who want to consume quality content but can’t always bring themselves to read it.
